Alleged Affair with Elon Musk Leads to Divorce of Google Co-Founder Sergey Brin and Nicole Shanahan

Google co-founder Sergey Brin has reportedly completed his divorce from attorney and entrepreneur Nicole Shanahan following allegations of a romantic involvement between Shanahan and Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. Court documents accessed by Page Six disclosed that Brin's divorce from his estranged wife was finalized on May 26.

As part of the divorce settlement, the former couple will share both legal and physical custody of their four-year-old daughter. Both Brin and Shanahan have vehemently denied any claims of infidelity. In response to the rumors, Musk took to Twitter to express his disbelief and emphasized that he and Shanahan were friends. He stated, "This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night," adding, "I've only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic."

Shanahan also refuted any romantic involvement with Musk, asserting, "Did Elon and I have sex, like it was a moment of passion, and then it was over? No."

The divorce proceedings initiated by Brin, aged 50, began on January 6, 2022, after three years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce.
