Bronx Shooting Claims the Life of 80-Year-Old Man

 



Early Sunday morning, tragedy struck the streets of the Bronx as an 80-year-old man fell victim to a fatal shooting.

Marcelino Valerio was present at the intersection of West 168 Street and Ogden Avenue in the Highbridge neighborhood when gunfire erupted at approximately 1:10 a.m., as reported by the police.

Valerio, a resident living roughly ten blocks away, sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, according to the NYPD.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to the elderly man's untimely demise. It remains unclear whether he was the intended target of the attack.
