Clarence Reed Jr. Found Guilty of Murdering Girlfriend Randi Light

 


In a verdict delivered on Friday, a Polk County judge has declared Clarence Reed Jr. guilty of the murder of Randi Light in February 2022.

Investigators revealed that Reed carried out a brutal assault, resulting in the tragic death of Light, who was his girlfriend. The incident took place at their residence on Southwest 23rd Street in Des Moines.

The conviction carries a sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

The sentencing has been scheduled for November 9.
