Fatal Accident on Highway WW Claims the Life of 22-Year-Old Man

 



Tragedy struck on Highway WW shortly before noon today, resulting in the loss of one man's life.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Reports, the incident occurred on September 17 at approximately 11:53 a.m. The accident site was located on Highway WW, situated three miles north of Dudley.

Noah Rushing, aged 22, was traveling in the northbound direction on Highway WW when the 2000 Freightliner he was operating veered off the right side of the road. In an attempt to correct, Rushing then swerved off the left side of the roadway, ultimately colliding with an embankment.

Tragically, Rushing was pronounced deceased at the scene by Stoddard County Coroner Brent Stidham at 12:41 p.m. The Coroner subsequently facilitated the transportation of the deceased to the Mathis Funeral Home.

At present, it remains uncertain whether Rushing was utilizing a safety device. This incident marks the 52nd fatality for MSHP Troop E in 2023.
