Fort Wayne Police Seek Information on Three Men Involved in Early Morning Crash

 


The Fort Wayne Police Department is soliciting assistance in identifying three individuals who fled the scene of a collision in the early hours of Sunday.

Shortly before 6:30 a.m., law enforcement responded to a crash in close proximity to The Rescue Mission in downtown Fort Wayne. According to officers, a vehicle was heading north on Lafayette Street when it disregarded a red light at the intersection with Washington Blvd. and subsequently collided with a van.

Following the impact, three men exited the car and absconded from the scene. Presently, their identities remain undisclosed.

The driver of the van was promptly transported to the hospital. As of now, their current condition remains unreported.

In the aftermath of the incident, both Lafayette Street and Washington Blvd. were temporarily restricted to a single lane. However, normal traffic flow has been fully restored.
