Monteview, IDAHO — Authorities have received credible sightings of Tyler Stoddard, a 32-year-old Monteview resident who went missing in early September. Deputies are continuing their efforts to locate him.
Stoddard was reported missing on September 11 to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. His vehicle was discovered abandoned near 2700 North in Monteview. The vehicle was found to be inoperable, leading deputies to believe that he left it on foot, according to an official news release.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman, Jennifer Fullmer, informed EastIdahoNews.com on Monday that Stoddard has been removed from the National Crime Information Center's missing persons list. This action was taken in light of multiple sightings in the Madison County area, suggesting that he is safe.
Although the sheriff’s office has not yet located Stoddard, Fullmer stated that deputies are actively pursuing the case. They are eager to verify his safety in person.
