Milwaukee Police Seek Public's Assistance in Fatal Hit and Run Investigation



MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police have issued an appeal to the community for assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with a tragic hit and run incident.


The hit and run occurred in the early hours of Saturday, approximately at 1:55 a.m., in close proximity to the Potawatomi Casino Hotel within the 2100 block of W. Canal St.


According to law enforcement officials, the victim, a pedestrian, was struck while attempting to cross the street. Subsequently, the driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene without stopping to render aid.


The suspect's vehicle has been described by police as an unidentified white SUV, likely manufactured between the years 2018 and 2020. Investigators believe that the make and model of the vehicle could potentially be a Kia Sportage.
