Raymond Man Faces Attempted Murder Charges in Alleged Dispute Over $40

 


Brentwood, N.H.- A Raymond resident has been indicted on charges of attempted second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing a relative in the head during a heated argument over $40.


Court documents reveal that the incident occurred in April when Adrian Demers reportedly launched an attack on the individual during a disagreement concerning yard work in Brentwood. 


Additionally, Demers stands accused of seizing the victim's firearm and using it to issue threats. Demers maintains that he acted in self-defense.


The indictment includes four counts of first-degree assault, theft by unauthorized taking of a firearm, and criminal threatening with a deadly weapon.
