Brighter Skies Expected in Burlington, Vermont

Today, residents of Burlington, Vt. can look forward to a day of improved weather conditions and some much-needed sunshine. The morning will greet the city with ample sunlight, with a few fair-weather clouds gradually appearing in the afternoon and evening. Thanks to a southerly breeze and increased sunshine, daytime temperatures will reach the low and mid-60s. As night falls, expect the return of clouds, accompanied by overnight lows in the mid and upper 40s, as well as the low 50s.

However, this brief spell of sunshine is fleeting. Clouds will begin to dominate the evening sky, leading to a cloudy start tomorrow morning. Throughout the day, the likelihood of showers will rise, particularly in the afternoon and evening hours. While most areas will experience mild high temperatures ranging from the low to mid-60s, regions to the south, affected by clouds and showers earlier, may see temperatures linger in the 50s.

Looking ahead to the weekend, both Saturday and Sunday will bring further showers. Saturday's highs are projected to reach the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s. Sunday, on the other hand, will be cool and blustery. With temperatures confined to the upper 40s and lower 50s, combined with the presence of wind and rain, it promises to be a brisk day. In terms of precipitation, most areas can expect to receive between 1 to 3 inches of rainfall.

The work week ahead brings a return to drier conditions. Monday will offer a mix of sun and clouds, with temperatures in the low 50s. Tuesday and Wednesday will introduce even more sunshine, with daytime highs rebounding to the mid and upper 50s, as well as the lower 60s.

Make the most of the brighter skies and sunshine!
