Home Invasion in Queens Leaves One Injured in Shooting Incident

 


Queens, Flushing  — In a distressing incident early Wednesday morning, a home invasion in Queens took a violent turn, resulting in one man being shot.


According to authorities, at approximately 5:40 a.m., four individuals approached the residence on 62nd Avenue belonging to the victim. Knocking on the door, they swiftly escalated the situation upon the victim's response.


In a brazen act, the suspects forcibly entered the premises and discharged a firearm, striking the victim in his chest and right arm. The wounded man was expeditiously transported to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.


Following the assault, the four assailants hastily fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan.


At present, law enforcement has not provided confirmation of any apprehensions in connection with the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
