Terry Stotts Steps Down as Milwaukee Bucks Assistant Coach

In a recent development, sources have confirmed that Terry Stotts has resigned from his position as an assistant coach with the Milwaukee Bucks, as reported by ESPN on Thursday.

Stotts, who took a hiatus from coaching after parting ways with the Portland Trail Blazers, returned to the NBA scene when he joined the staff under new head coach Adrian Griffin earlier this year. However, in a decision reached in recent days, Stotts has opted not to continue in this role.

The immediate plans regarding potential additions to Griffin's coaching staff following Stotts' departure remain uncertain.

Terry Stotts had an extensive tenure as the head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers, spanning nine years. During his tenure, the Blazers made eight consecutive appearances in the Western Conference playoffs. Stotts achieved a notable record of 402 wins and 318 losses during his time with the Blazers, notably coaching current Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard.
